Law firm day for doing good deeds . We purchased and delivered a nice rehabilitation bed for an elderly Durham lady
who has been sleeping in her wheelchair or her recliner because she had no bed.

Johnson and Johnson is being sued around the nation for their products causing cancer. Apparently, it was known to Johnson and Johnson that their talc powder causes cancer and now they are getting hit with huge verdicts around the nation.Apparently, particularly ovarian cancer. If you or a loved one has used talc powder from Johnson & Johnson and suffers, or has died from cancer, this is very significant.

When will these huge megacorporations learn they cannot disregard their in-house reports regarding product safety. ( sounds like cigarette litigation - maybe worse - or asbestos litigation ).

Beware the newest scam.!! Client calls me today, tells me that the IRS is auditing him. They want his Social Security number and want money immediately paid. They even have it so that it appeared that the IRS number came up on his call log . I told him absolutely to not give his social security number and not make any payment but to have the "IRS agent "
To contact me. Guess what no call!! Beware people !!!

20 years later-
Still a crazed act of violence - solemnly remembered.
Violence never accomplishes anything .
Sentencing judge for Terry Nichols said to him " the Government and constitution you hate is the same that provides you with a fair trial "

The North Carolina Supreme Court ruled in favor of the firm's client in a worker s compensation matter. Carl Poole v UNC School System.

The decision came back this weekend. The case was heard only a few weeks ago. I argued and I thought one of the Judges on the seven judge panel was certainly against me the way he argued with me but the decision was unanimous. This means the Supreme Court of NC agreed with the NC Court of Appeals and awarded my client back benefits and medical benefits..
