Meet Kristy!

Kristy began working for Talent Farm and Encompass Solutions in 2020. She has been an invaluable and integral part of the team. Her work ethic, patience, enthusiam, profesiionalism, sense of humor, time managment skills, follow through and intuitveness are just a few of her many amazing attributes. "We are only as good as the people around us." Thank you, Kristy for keeping me organized and making myself and clients look good every day!

In her "spare" time, Kristy runs a farm. I don't think she ever sleeps. :)

I'm looking for six (6) laborers to work at Mont du Lac Resort from July 1st - July 31st. The primary duties will include mowing grass, moving brush, etc... Great job for a high school, college student or anyone looking to make some extra money. They will be working outdoors., so social distancing is no problem. Days/Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Overtime is available. Pay is $15.00/hour. Please DM me, if interested. Thanks!

Wow, it has been awhile since I've been on this page. Sorry for anyone who has looked only to find nothing. These past two years have been a blur. My business has grown exponentially. I'm thankful and feel blessed to work with so many smart business people. I LOVE what I do! I launched Talent Farm about a year and a half ago. All of our hiring has been through Talent Farm. Encompass is the consulting side of the business. Talent Farm is the hiring side. I promise to be more diligent about updates and all the jobs that I'm hiring for. Until next time... xo!

I’m excited to introduce the newest member of the Talent Farm/Encompass team. Welcome Marisa Marceau Hoogenakker! Marisa has been an integral part of Talent Farm for the past few months. Below is her impressive bio:

Marisa Hoogenakker, M.S., PHR is an HR professional with over 18 years of experience working in a variety of industries including healthcare, public employment, manufacturing, and not-for-profit. She holds a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Illinois State University and has been PHR certified since 2002. Her areas of expertise include recruiting, compliance, employee relations, management coaching, and performance management. She has taught at both UMD and UWS in the areas of Management, HR, and Psychology.

The Overtime Exemption has been blocked! YES!!!!!!!

There appears to be some confusion on the overtime exemption law. There's a bill (HR 6094) to delay it from Dec. 1 to June 1. The good news is it passed in the House. It's awaiting a vote in the Senate. It's ytd if they will vote on it before the election. The bad news is that Obama has promised to veto it if does pass. Therefore, I would recommend all businesses to plan on complying with it on Dec. 1.
