Center Redemption We are a full service redemption center in Dubuque, IA. Get your 5¢ beverage deposit back! We offer walk-in, drop off, pickup services.

Iowa's bottle bill deposit law covers all carbonated and alcoholic beverages. Consumers pay a five-cent deposit when purchasing a beverage container and receive a five-cent refund when returning the container to a store or redemption center. The bottle bill helps reduce and clean up litter by recovering beverage containers for recycling. It’s Center Redemption’s mission to keep the deposit contain

ers out of ditches, landfills and rivers. We want to continue to keep Iowa a clean and beautiful state. The high level of participation by Iowa's businesses and Iowa consumers is the key to the program's success. An estimated 86 percent of beverage containers, or 1.65 billion, are redeemed annually in Iowa. We have been in business for 13 years. Over the years we have expanded, grown, and moved our location. We have evolved from sorting everything (including public to small accounts) on our tables surrounded by cardboard boxes, to a better facility equipped with gaylord bags, hopper and conveyor belt systems, and information panel technology, to name a few examples.

Summer Hours Are Upon Us:

Starting May 1st our hours will be…

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. We will also be open every Saturday 9am-noon. Starting in May we will no longer be open on Monday nights. You can drop off during normal business hours during the week. To drop off on a Saturday it will be by appointment only. It these times don’t work to drop off please contact us for an appointment.
