The Liberty Bell "Let Freedom Ring" license plates are now available! These plates will gradually replace the current yellow-and-blue standard plates. Here's what you need to know:

- Agents will continue issuing the yellow-and-blue plates until their inventory is depleted. Once stock runs out, the Liberty Bell plates will become the new standard.

- Vehicle owners can switch to the Liberty Bell style by completing Form MV-44LB. Non-personalized plate holders will need to pay a replacement fee. Personalized plate holders will not owe a fee but must list their exact configuration and attach a photo of their current plate.

- Specialty plates (Military, Special Fund, Special Organization) are not yet available in the new style. If a specialty plate holder requests the Liberty Bell plate, it will be replaced with a standard plate in the new style.
