Before moving to Texas, attorney Milena Christopher prosecuted child abuse cases for the government in Broward County, Florida. She founded her first law firm, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The firm eventually grew to a staff of 26, including several attorneys, and was the largest law firm woman-owned and operated in Ft. Lauderdale. Milena's clientele at her Florida practice grew so large that she represented a party in every child support case in Bromwell County, Florida! While developing her law practice, Milena became an early proponent of mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Today, she is known as a champion of mediation and collaborative law, which is the newest form of ADR. She has earned the designation of Advanced Credentialed Mediator by the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association (TMCA) and is also the Vice President of the Hill Country Collaborative Law Group (HCCLG).
