RATES have gone up!
For the first time in over 20 years, California Notaries are able to raise their rates on notarized signatures.

You may ask "how much is that raise?" It is $5.

State law mandates the maximum a may charge per notarized signature. The previous amount was $10. But as of January 1, 2017, we are allowed to charge up to $15 for each signature we notarize.

Today, I receive notice that I passed the state exam to renew my next 4 year commission.

What does it take to pass a 30 question exam? It takes a score of at least 70%

What was my score? Thank you for asking: 100%
