BEWARE businesses and citizens in Dixon.

We have received numerous calls pertaining to the collection of payments for Electric Services.
Gascosage Electric has confirmed they to are receiving complaints.
Local businesses have received calls from a 1-800 number stating that they have a bill past due and that there electric is scheduled to be disconnected today.
The individual then gives instructions to go to Caseys and put the amount past due on a Green Dot Card and to call him with the card number and he would call the trucks and have them not to disconnect service. They are identifying themselves to be Gascosage Electric.

I urge everyone to be cautious as this is not the normal business practice of Gascosage Electric. If you have questions regarding your bill call Gascosage Electric at there local listed number and certainly do not send someone a Green Dot Crédit Card number.

Don't forget to come out to the Cowdays Days parade to see all of your favorite fire trucks and to get to see our firemen walking and handing out candy!
