Governor Whitmer better veto this HB 4951 wholesale commercial cannabis taxation bill before the loss in tax revenue they would suffer if it passes. They are putting into significant jeopardy the annual $100,000,000 they get from our pot for potholes plan in place. The Laffer curve for cannabis taxation is heavily influenced by the fact that it grows like a w**d, illegal sellers will dominate the market, and the rest of us will accept gifts from our neighbors, or get a caregiver. Our community will have to take risks to care for dying patients on fixed incomes which are set to diminish.

You are about to destroy thousands of small businesses with this listless ma*****na wholesale 24% tax bill HB 4951. And doing a big favor for the same big money giant MSO corporations that likely also bribed Rick Johnson as chairman of the corrupt State of Michigan licensing board in addition to the ones who got caught. Who are they Rick?

This coming Thursday, October 17 at 7 pm, we will be auctioning off the remaining contents of 2930 E Jefferson Ave, Detroit, MI.

Decades ago, we started the first Cannabis law firm, and had the opportunity to collect some pretty cool cannabis memorabilia, artwork, political paraphernalia, and other miscellany. We cannot keep it all as I am retiring and the other lawyers all now work virtually.

There also are bookcases, a large conference table, desks, file cabinets, and other furniture including a large standing desk, an old oak roll top desk, antique oak file cabinet, side table, piano stool (needing work) and other cool stuff.
