Scott continues to expand CMC's strong commercial lending platform in New Jersey and the Tri-State Region. In April 2009, Mark appeared on Bloomberg TV as a guest speaker regarding commercial real estate finance. He is regularly quoted by CNN in their commercial real estate columns, has appeared on WABC-TV Viewpoint New York, and is a regular contributor to GlobeSt.com, Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal, Wall Street Journal and Real Estate Forum. Scott is a member of the National Mortgage Bankers Association and has served on the Urban Land Institute (ULI) national multifamily council. He has consulted for the Appraisal Institute in addition to the National Association of Realtors. Scott is also a member of U.S Realty Capital, LLC, a nationwide network of commercial mortgage bankers. Realty has a proven track record of providing clients with top-quality service and creative capital solutions for commercial real estate projects nationwide. Scott graduated magna cm laude from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Business Administration, Finance/Real Estate Urban Economic Studies and received his MBA from Purdue University. Scott is active in his hometown of Sparta, NJ, where he is a member of the Sparta Economic Development Commission and coordinates and teaches Sparta’s Junior Achievement program. In addition, Mark is President of the Freedom House Board of Trustees in Glen Gardner, NJ.
