The Mirage has been an iconic part of the Las Vegas Strip for decades.

The Mirage: A Legacy Ends

Developed by Steve Wynn, The Mirage opened its doors in November 1989, marking a new era for the Las Vegas Strip with its luxurious amenities and lavish vision. The $630 million project, considered high risk at the time, set new standards in the hospitality industry. However, after 35 years, The Mirage will be closing its doors in July 2024.

A New Chapter

In 2021, it was announced that The Mirage would be sold to Hard Rock International, with the sale completed in 2022. The Hard Rock plans to rebrand the property, signaling a new chapter for this historic location.
