Hey friend! Please pick up your Pet Parade Packet today, Friday, October 16 from 3 to 6 pm in the park at 41st and Tennyson. Just look for the Denver Nook tent. There, you will get a first look at La Ofrenda para Las Almas de Las Mascotas, which I am very excited to share with you!

One of the core values of the Denver Nook Pet Parade (in addition to being the best, longest-running parade in Denver) is raising much-needed funds for Colorado Pet Pantry. Participation in the Denver Nook Pet Parade is FREE, and the hope is that you (our amazing community) will donate what you can to Colorado Pet Pantry through participating in the photo contest to be next year’s mascot, or by donating to CPP directly via this link.

And, yes, you may pick up your packets on Parade Day between 9:15 and 9:45, but it is MUCH easier for everyone if you are able to pick them up early.

PS The weather for the parade tomorrow is looking AMAZING! Crisp and Sunny!

I'm not quite ready to promote this event, but since just shared the news of his sweet dog Sunny's passing, and all of us who love our pets are feeling that sadness, I will share in hopes of bringing some solace.

I have been working with on the first-ever Community Ofreda to celebrate Dia De Las Almas de Las Mascotas in the park at Tennyson and 41st.

Bring a photo, drawing, or memento to remember & celebrate your beloved pets at the community ofrenda in the park at Tennyson and 41st. Tuesday, October 27th 5-7pm. There will be Mariachis, celebration, lots of remembering and lots of hugs.

RIP Sunny, and big support to the during these sad days.
