I recently had the pleasure of working with Douglas Cohen and Todd Narum at Peak Legal, and I cannot speak highly enough of their exceptional services. Todd was instrumental in the success of my recent divorce settlement, far exceeding my expectations. Haven't posted in a long while. My law partner and I have been hunkered down preparing for a month-long trial in Denver. It started July 12th. While we are plugging away, fighting the fight, we received a 5-Star review from another client who I helped in a DUI case. It is always nice when clients take time out of their busy lives to recognize our hard work. In the midst of another trial, it was a nice pick me up. So I'd like to share what he said....

Mr Cohen helped me through one of the most diffucult times in my life facing DUI charges. He worked hard to understand my situation, and provided honest and fortright consultation. Mr Cohen was able to identify several procedural and evaluation mistakes made by the police in my unique situatation. Ultimately he was able to reduce my charges down to non-alcohol related offenses. He recommended beneficial mitigations to take advanage of time while the court process unfolded. The mitigations were critical in reduced charges, and fines with no probation. His expertise and personal attention to detail resulted in great outcome. I am thankful of his representation. I will not hesitant to use or recommend Mr Cohen in future matters.

It's not safe to drink and drive, so be safe out there over the holidays. However, police unfortunately sometimes make mistakes, take shortcuts or even intentionally not follow law and procedure. This can damage the lives and reputations of citizens like this one client of mine who honorably had served our country and had a long, untarnished career as a pilot. Here is his review.
