After an accident, even an innocent social media update can be taken out of context and used to question the severity of your injuries.
You don’t necessarily need to disappear from social media. But you should be careful about posting:
• Details about the accident
• Photos of physical activities
• Updates about your recovery
• Comments about who was at fault
• Check-ins or location information
When a personal injury claim is underway, assume that anything you share publicly may be seen by the other side.
