Killed in action on March 30, 1945 near Paderborn, Germany, Major General Maurice Rose was one of the highest ranking officers to die by enemy fire in the European Theater during World War II. The son of a rabbi who moved to Denver with his family at the age of four so that his father could receive tuberculosis treatment, Rose attended East High School before enlisting to serve in the US Army during WWI.

Known for his hands-on leadership style and bravery on the battlefield, he is the highest ranking Jewish officer and the most decorated battle tank commander in US military history. Denverite Marshall Fogle spent years researching Rose, publishing an in-depth biography of this unflinching soldier.

Donโ€™t miss the chance to hear about this incredible Coloradan at a special talk on April 14 from 2-3pm, hosted by the Stephen H. Hart Research Center at the History Colorado Center.

While child support in Colorado generally ends at 19, certain circumstances can extend this period.

If your child is still in high school past their 19th birthday, support continues until they graduate or turn 21, whichever comes first.

Additionally, for children with disabilities, support can be extended indefinitely.

Understanding these exceptions can help you plan better for your child's future.

Understanding Emergency Motions to Restrict Parenting Time

When children's safety is at risk, urgent actions are necessary.

Filing an emergency motion to restrict parenting time is a significant legal step that requires proving imminent danger to a child's physical or emotional well-being.

This could be due to substance abuse, neglect, or exposure to unsafe environments. It's crucial to provide compelling evidence to support your claims.

Colorado law requires a prompt court hearing, typically within 14 days, to address such motions.

If the Court deems your case credible, they may completely restrict the other parent's time with the children or require that a third party supervise their visitation.

Seeking legal guidance is essential to navigate this complex process effectively. Your child's well-being is paramount, and understanding the legal framework can help you take informed steps to protect them.

Are you considering parting ways with your partner and reside in Colorado? We're here to guide you on how an uncontested divorce can possibly be the most amicable, cost-effective, and smooth path for both parties involved.

โญ ๐€ ๐’๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ก

An uncontested divorce means you and your spouse agree on all significant aspects such as property division, child custody, and spousal support, averting a battleground in court and preserving a healthy relationship post-divorce, especially vital when kids are in the picture.

Before embarking on this journey, ensure at least one of you has resided in Colorado for a minimum of 91 days to meet the legal prerequisites.

๐Ÿ“ ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐๐š๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค

Kickstart the process by preparing the indispensable divorce paperwork, which involves petitions for dissolution or legal separation and a summons for the same. And yes, acquiring these forms is a walk in the park as they are available at your county district court.

While you can take charge of the uncontested divorce yourself, involving an adept attorney can be a lifesaver, ensuring all court requirements are met and your interests remain safeguarded.

Got kids? Formulating a parenting plan should be your priority. This roadmap delineates rights, responsibilities, and the blueprint for visitation schedules, holidays, and more, revolving around the child's utmost welfare. And let's not forget, defining child support using the Colorado Child Support Calculator can aid in estimating the financial aspect accurately.

When assets and debts are in the equation, a fair division is pivotal, and here, many factors come into play, including the financial standing of each spouse and individual contributions during the marital journey.

Mediation stands as a peaceful harbor in case disagreements arise, aiding in resolving issues with a trained mediator, saving time, and curtailing emotional distress.

โ“ ๐…๐€๐๐ฌ

How long does it take? As quick as 91 days, provided all agreements are met timely.
Court appearance necessary? Not always, especially if there are no minor children involved and a signed Separation Agreement is in place.

How to ensure the easiest divorce pathway? Opting for a 'decree upon affidavit' can be the quickest route, sans a court hearing, yet, securing legal advice is recommended.

An uncontested divorce paves the way for a new beginning, harmoniously and collaboratively, letting both partners start afresh with minimized stress and disruption.

We're here to help you navigate this significant life event with ease and understanding. Remember, an uncontested divorce is not just a legal proceeding, but a step towards mutual respect and peaceful future coexistence. ๐Ÿ’–
