Meet Brenda Davis

Brenda Davis brings a wealth of expertise, education and experience to the table when it comes to mountain area real estate. That journey led her to a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and then a Master’s of Science in Management with a specialization in training and leadership development from the University of Denver, as well as a paralegal certificate focusing on real estate a

nd corporate law. A resident of Colorado since 1992, she moved to Evergreen in 2013. As a member of the Mountain Metro Area Association of Realtors (MMAR), she is a Certified Mountain Area Specialist (CMAS) and a Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE). Brenda is the 2021 Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce. A graduate of the 2017 Class of Leadership Evergreen, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for this non-profit organization. She is a member of the Women in Evergreen Businesses, a membership non-profit devoted to the promotion and success of local women-owned businesses through community support and outreach. Capitalizing on her accomplishments, Brenda has followed through on her vow to immerse herself in the community, aiming to be of service and make a difference. Earning her real estate license in 2007, she currently hangs her license at the Denver office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Innovative Real Estate, while working out of her home office in Evergreen. Brenda confides, “I care deeply about each of my clients, whether it’s the excitement of a first-time buyer, the cherished memories during an estate sale, or the newness of a first sale.” She views herself as part Realtor and part therapist with a truly calming influence during the real estate process. “I work hard to take care of each client’s unique needs. Moving as much as we did during my childhood has made me particularly sensitive to the issues involved with the transitions related to the purchase or sale of a home. I understand the highs and lows and bring my life experience front and center.”

Not surprisingly, Brenda’s life has been full of challenge and adventure. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, her parents along with her older sister moved back to the United States when she was five weeks old. As the daughter of an Army doctor, her childhood involved a number of relocations; from Maryland to Georgia, to Indiana, to Arizona, then back to Georgia. After her Dad finished his service with the Army, they moved to the small town of Madisonville, Kentucky, where she lived from the age of 7 to 15. Her parents moved the family one last time to Roswell, New Mexico, where she graduated from high school. After attending a small Christian college outside Oklahoma City, she returned to New Mexico and settled in Albuquerque where she married and had her children, Lauren and Austin. When her older sister was diagnosed with leukemia in 2003, Brenda was found to be a sibling stem cell match and underwent two transplants with her sister before she lost her battle in 2007. The following year, Brenda and her younger sister ran the San Diego Rock-N-Roll Marathon with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) in memory of Leigh Ann. Ten years after her passing, Brenda again raised research money for LLS and ran the Savannah Rock-N-Roll Marathon. She rounded out 2019 by supporting LLS again and ran the Denver Half-Marathon. Mother’s Day 2020 brought another new title for Brenda. She is now Grammy to daughter Lauren’s baby girl, Harper. Brenda’s son Austin lives in the Denver area where he is pursuing a Master’s degree. Her husband Chris is from the mountain area and is a loan officer at Aslan Home Lending Corporation in Evergreen. They were married on the banks of Upper Bear Creek in 2013. Wife, mother, Grammy, sister, aunt, Realtor, committee member and Chairman of the Board appear to be only the current titles for this unstoppable woman. Rest assured that Brenda’s values mirror the commitment of Berkshire Hathaway to “provide a company culture that promotes integrity, trust and stability.” A client will truly be able to “expect high-quality service throughout the real estate journey.” Brenda vows to “value relationships over transactions” and to “be with you every step of the way.”

Our Story

At the age of 15, my parents moved our family to Roswell, NM. To this day, I remember the name of their real estate agent, Theone Rodgers. I also remember thinking, “I want to do what she does for a living.” So began my journey to becoming a REALTOR®. Along the way I have gained experience as a real estate and corporate law paralegal, a human resources trainer, a personal banker, an adjunct professor and a closing assistant for a title company. I believe this varied background gives me a unique depth and breadth of knowledge that I bring to each of my clients. My formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Masters in Management from the University of Denver. Colorado has been my home since 1992 and I have been fortunate to live in Evergreen since 2013. I am happily married and have a daughter, a son, and a step daughter. My interests include: hiking, camping, flyfishing, art, music, and reading. I am a member of the Mountain Metro Association of REALTORS®, have earned the designation of Certified Mountain Area Specialist and have co-chaired Goldilocks and The Little Bear, a community fundraising event for our mountain area libraries. I am a member of the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce and have been a committee member for their annual Women in Business Luncheon and Sparkle and Shine events. I have proudly raised over $3000 and run a marathon for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training. Additionally, I helped build homes with Habitat for Humanity in the metro and mountain areas. Many years ago I created a Bucket List, on which I wrote I wanted to live in a mountain community. I recently came across this list and realized I was living my dream. I look forward to working with you and making your real estate dreams come true, as well.
