For decades, Lowry Air Force Base trained military personnel from across the country, even serving as a temporary location for the Air Force academy. It officially closed in 1994 after training over 1.1 million military personnel.

And that’s ok.

A lot of my job is not what you would expect. It is the extra stuff. The little details. The things that help a home look its best and help a seller feel fully supported.

My job is to make sure every i is dotted and every t is crossed before we press “list.”

Some homes just check boxes…this one changes how you live.

You wake up tucked behind the gates of Backcountry, with the mountains sitting quietly in the background. Coffee on the covered deck, planning out a day that could go a hundred different directions. Just closed! This one took time. Over a year of searching, more than 50 homes, and even a contract we chose to walk away from when the inspection raised concerns. Anyone in real estate knows that can be a tricky window. Buyers are traveling, schedules are full, and most people assume the market pauses for the holidays.

But when a work transfer says it is time to move, you do not get to wait for the perfect listing week.
