🔥 $62,500 🔥
An employee was unlawfully terminated after requesting a reasonable accommodation in the form of a flexible schedule to coordinate care for their disabled child.
The company rejected his request for accommodation without evaluating alternatives, undermined his approved family leave by forcing him to work during that time, and took away his main projects.
To try to cover their tracks, management imposed an unjustified performance improvement plan on him with the sole intention of forcing him to resign before ultimately firing him unlawfully, but we intervened immediately to assert his rights and succeeded in recovering $62,500 in compensation for the retaliation he suffered. 💼🏛️✨
If your employer punishes you, takes projects away from you, or looks for excuses to fire you after you request family leave, a medical accommodation, or due to your religious beliefs, the law protects you. Let’s talk about your rights. 📲 1-833-522-6274
