Today was a United Way of Denton County event that Jack and I were pied with a cream pie. It was really a lot of fun for a great cause. Our firm has supported United Way of Denton County for over two decades. Great work for the community helping people in need! Be sure to check out the video.

Today, we honor Mr. Greg Sawko, attorney with Sawko & Burroughs, for his exceptional dedication to serving Denton County. Beyond his hard work in the legal field, Greg has spent over 20 years making a profound impact on our community through his unwavering commitment to helping those in need.

In 2011, Greg played a pivotal role in creating the Coats 4 Kids Ride, an initiative that has since provided thousands of new winter coats to children across Denton County. This year alone, the effort collected an impressive 2,445 coats!

Greg’s service doesn’t stop there. As a founding member of the Hundred Club, he actively supports local law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency responders. Additionally, his long-standing involvement with the United Way of Denton County has helped raise awareness and resources to combat poverty, enhance education, and promote health and wellness for underserved populations.

Greg’s compassion, leadership, and selfless dedication have left a lasting mark on our community, inspiring others to join him in making a difference.

So very proud of the Sawko & Burroughs Office team as each year they put on United Way of Denton County events in support of United Way. We have been a pacesetter campaign company for over a decade and we are proud to support United Way of Denton County.

Very excited to announce that Jack Sawko has joined the law firm of Sawko & Burroughs as an associate attorney. Jack graduated with an economics degree from UT Austin and attened SMU Law. Very excited to have Jack join the team.

We are so proud of our daughter Emma, she is graduating from UT this week with a neuroscience degree. She did exceptionally well and will be off to law school this fall.
