My client got sued in 2020 -- it was a nuisance lawsuit by a former employer -- and they made a 6-figure demand. Today (3 years later), I settled the case for $2,500.00. Even with the fees they paid me over the last 3 years, the client is ecstatic. But there's definitely something wrong where the plaintiff's lawyers brought this case in the first-place, and only engaged in realistic settlement negotiations when the case was about to be put on the trial docket. -system

Credit card debt is stressful. What can you do about it?

1. Make an extra payment toward your credit card balance.
2. Figure out a way to pay a few dollars more each month.
3. Limit new purchases until your credit card balances are paid in full.
4. Reduce the number of credit cards you have.
5. Once you have a zero balance, pay the full amount due each month.
