Carroll-White CASA will be making some changes soon. We have a new Director that will step in June 1! Shawna Yoder has accepted the position. I will remain on as part time for a few months to assist.
I have been a part of Carroll-White CASA from the beginning, serving as a Volunteer for 10 years and Director for the past four years. It is difficult to step away but it is the best thing for me and my family at this time.
I am thankful for all the wonderful people I have had the pleasure of working with and working for throughout these years! Both county judges, DCS staff, Indiana CASA program and fellow state Directors, attorneys, providers, families and of course my amazing Volunteers! Our program attorney, Abigail Diener , who is responsible for getting this program off the ground along with Kurtis Fouts, has been such a big part. I will miss working with all of you on a daily basis, but I will never forget the lessons I have learned and the friendships I have gained through Carroll-White CASA!
I am confident that Shawna Marie will continue to push for the best interest of the children in Carroll and White Counties.
