I wanted to share a little bit about our logo and brand. The logo the head of a lion. I'd like to give credit to my daughter, AC Coss for her art work on the logo.
Why a lion's head? I think it might be mistaken as a metaphor for our strength and ferocity as advocates. That's not what it's about.
When I was considering starting this business up again after being laid off from my technology job, I did a lot of praying; seeking God's plan because His ways are greater than my ways.
During this time, I was reminded that Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He is the King of Kings. Today, we remember his death on the cross. An act of pure sacrificial love.
Good Friday is a somber day for Christians as we remember the passion. It is heartbreaking. But, there is hope because Sunday is coming. Revelation 5:5 says "And of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to the open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof."
Our logo, is not a metaphor; it is a reminder of who we are as a business and the King who we serve. It represents our core values which are, honestly, integrity, compassion, and candor.
This picture hangs in our office as a constant reminder of why we started this business. Our logo is an extension of that reminder.
