This weekend we took advantage of the sunshine and explored Green Springs in Deltona/Enterprize as a family before the next cold spell rolled in. Rosie and Allen even “met a local” while admiring the springs… turns out he had scales and a tail. 🐊

If you haven’t been yet, we highly recommend checking it out! There’s a cute playground for the kids, shaded pavilions for resting, and plenty of walking paths to explore. The spring itself is the main attraction. Yes, you’ll notice the sulfur smell (totally normal!) and while no swimming is allowed, the resident alligator helps reinforce that rule.

We even spotted wild orange trees along the trails, still full of fruit. It was a great day all around, and yes, even Baby John enjoyed the views. 🌿
