π¦ Thursday Recipe Night: Easy Backyard Shrimp Boil
Nothing says summer quite like a big shrimp boil spread across the table with family and friends gathered around.
Ingredients:
2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined (or shell-on)
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
4 ears corn, cut into thirds
1Β½ lbs baby potatoes
1 lemon, sliced
1 onion, quartered
4 cloves garlic
3 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (optional for extra kick)
4 tbsp butter, melted
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil.
Add Old Bay seasoning, onion, garlic, and lemon slices.
Add potatoes and cook for 12-15 minutes.
Add corn and sausage. Cook another 5-7 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until pink and opaque.
Drain everything and spread onto a large platter or newspaper-covered table.
Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley and extra seasoning if desired.

Crab legs
Mussels
Andouille sausage
Red potatoes
Extra lemon wedges
Garlic butter dipping sauce
