The Defiance County Child Support Enforcement Agency is accepting applications for the position of Case Manager.
The candidate filling this position will be responsible to manage and enforce child support cases in accordance with legal requirements and includes clear, concise, and timely case management initiation and follow up. The candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; organize and prioritize work assignments and responsibilities; use critical analysis concepts for creative problem resolution; ability to exercise initiative, work accurately and resolve case-related decisions independently; make sound judgment; maintain confidentiality; present a positive public image; maintain effective work relationships with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office, data entry, have excellent public relations and customer service skills. Abilities will need to include excellent oral and written communication skills, while being respectful and professional; a high level of organization with the ability to prioritize and multi-task job duties. Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent plus substantial related work experience and/or specialized or technical training is required. Must possess a valid State of Ohio Motor Vehicle Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record and insurability.
This is a full-time unclassified position; starting wage range is $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
