Our awesome neighbor Ethan Langlois is helping coordinate a Blood Drive here in Deerfield, and it would be great to see our community show up to support him.

Ethan is one impressive young man — serving in the Air Force Civil Air Patrol, volunteering in the community, and always stepping up to help others. This is just another example of the difference he’s making.

Another outstanding election on March 11, 2025, for the Town of Deerfield, NH! This is in no small part to the AMAZING poll workers that take time from their busy schedules to help the election process happen.

A very special THANK YOU to all of our Ballot Clerks, Inspectors of Elections, Super-Supervisors of the Checklist led by Joanna Waring, Deerfield NH Town Clerk's office, Assistant Moderators, Board of Selectmen, Deerfield Women's Club, Police and Fire Chiefs, Ray Ellis/Town of Deerfield (sets up hall), and many other unsung heroes that work behind the scenes to make an election day go so well!

We had almost 1,500 voters participate this election - thank you to all that were able to participate!

If you happen to see a poll worker in town, please don't hesitate to join me in sharing our appreciation for all they do to make democracy happen for our community!

Friends - now that I am no longer the Deerfield Town Moderator (Congrats to Erik Gross for taking this important role on!), I will be shutting down this page in the next few days.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to meet and engage with countless residents — helping ensure that every voice was heard, whether it was during Deliberative Sessions or on Election Day. Together, we’ve navigated a great deal — including a global pandemic, multiple voting locations, significant changes to voting laws, and more than our fair share of major winter storms. Through it all, the one thing that has always stood out to me is the unwavering kindness and spirit of the people of Deerfield. It is that same kindness and community spirit that will serve Deerfield well into the future.

I am deeply proud of the role I’ve had the privilege to play, grateful for all of the support Erik Gross has provided me, and my sincere hope is that my service as your Moderator has brought people together — helping us solve challenges, respect one another, and strengthen our democracy. After all, this is what makes a community like Deerfield so incredibly special.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you — for allowing me the honor of serving you, for your participation in this process, and for demonstrating that when people come together in good faith, great things can happen.

There is truly no better place to call home than Deerfield, New Hampshire.
