Just another example as to how this pandemic has affected "normal" life as we ALL know it...including those who have been injured on the job.

Rumors persist that the IL State Senate will vote today on some version of workers’ comp reform. It remains unclear which bill is currently in play, but it is certain that any WC reform bill will include cuts in compensation to injured workers and reductions in medical reimbursement rates to the doctors who treat them. It bears repeating to Senators that this will cause hardship to injured workers and limit access to high quality medical treatment. It bears repeating also that none of the Senate bills include safety reform or WC insurance reform. Please take a minute out of your busy schedule today, right now if possible, to contact your State Senator or any other State Senator you know by phone call or email to oppose any efforts to take away rights from injured workers. Thanks.

It concludes that although advocates of workers' compensation reform claim that it is necessary i...

Another glaring example of why it's the insurance industry that needs reform and NOT workers' rights.
