This is Still Make-A-Will Month!
Have you ever wondered, “What exactly is a Will?”
A Will is a legal document that lets you put your wishes in writing for what you want to happen to certain things after you die.
A Will can:
• Name the person you want to handle your estate.
• Say who you want to receive your personal belongings and other assets.
• Leave instructions about things that are important to you.
• For parents of minor children, a Will can also be used to nominate a guardian for their children.
And here’s something many people don’t realize:
You don’t have to be wealthy or own a lot of property to have a Will.
A Will is simply a way to make your wishes known and help your loved ones know what you wanted.
August is Make-A-Will Month—so if you don’t have a Will yet, maybe this is the month to start thinking about it. ❤️
