One of the many pathways to citizenship that Masri Law Office, PLLC handles are L-1 visa applications. This visa enables a U.S. employer to transfer an executive or manager from one of it's affiliated foreign officers to one of its offices in the United States. If there is no affiliated U.S. office, the visa allows the employer to send the executive or manager to the United States to establish one.

To qualify for this visa, the employer must have a qualifying relationship with a foreign company and currently be, or will be, doing business as an employer in the United States and in at least one other country. Additionally, the employee must have been working for a qualifying organization abroad for one continuous years within the three years immediately preceding his or her admission to the United States and be seeking to enter the U.S. to provide service in an executive or managerial capacity.
Qualifying employees may also have family accompany them to the United States.

The L-1 visa is either immediately granted or denied upon process by immigration officials. Upon eligibility, Masri Law Office, PLLC files green card applications for individuals who have obtained an L-1 visa.

U.S. citizens can petition for spouses, unmarried children under the age of 21, and parents (if the U.S. citizen is over the age of 21). A visa is automatically available for these individuals. U.S. citizens can also petition for unmarried sons or daughters over the age of 21, married children of any age, and brothers and sisters (if the U.S. citizen petitioner is over the age of 21). These individuals must wait until a visa is available. Waiting times may vary based on the relationship to the petitioner.

Permanent residents (green card holders) can also petition to bring their relatives to the United States. Permanent residents (green card holders) can petition for unmarried children and spouses.

Whether your relative is inside or outside the United States will determine what the process is to obtain his or her green card.

If you are a member of a special category, you may also qualify for a green card. فيزة الخطوبة هي احدى طرق الحصول على الجنسية التي يقدمها مكتب المصري ..
الأفراد المتمتعين بالجنسية الأميركية يمكنهم التقديم لجلب الخطيب الأجنبي الذي يعيش خارج الولايات المتحدة الأميركية للزواج .

الأفراد اللذين يريدون تقديم الطلب عليهم اتباع التعليمات التاليه :
١- يجب ان يكون مقدم الطلب متمتع بالجنسية الأميركية.
٢- الزواجات السابقة يجب ان تكون منتهية قانونيا .

An individual who is a U.S. citizen may petition to bring a foreign national fiancé(e) living abroad to the United States to marry.

Individuals may determine eligibility by meeting the following requirements:
- The petitioner must be a U.S citizen
- You must intend to marry within 90 days of your fiancée entering the United States
- Any previous marriages must have been legally terminated
- You must have met each other, in person, at least once within 2 years of filing your petition. A waiver to this requirement may be available in certain situations.

If your fiancé(e) has a child who is under 21 and unmarried, a visa may also be available to him or her.

If the fiancé(e) visa is issued, your fiancé(e) may enter the United States for 90 days so that the wedding may take place. The fiancé(e) may also immediately apply for permission to work. Once married, your spouse can apply for permanent residence (green card) and remain in the United States while the application is being processed.

The fiancé(e) status will expire after 90 days and cannot be extended. If you do not marry, your fiancé(e) must leave the United States at the end of the 90-day period.

Lena F. Masri, Esq., lead attorney and founder of Masri Law Office, PLLC and CAIR Michigan's legal director focuses her practice in the area of immigration and civil rights litigation. She is licensed to practice law in Michigan, New York and Washington, D.C. She holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Indiana University – Indianapolis, School of Law, where she focused her studies in International & Comparative Law and International Human Rights Law. Individuals are eligible to apply for political asylum if they suffered persecution in their home country or fear that they will suffer persecution based on race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion. If you are eligible for asylum, you may remain in the United States.

Individuals who are eligible for asylum and wish to apply must file their applications within one year of coming to the United States. Spouses and unmarried children under 21 who are in the United States may be included in the asylum application. If your spouse or children are not in the United States, you can petition for them to join you in the U.S once your application has been approved.

Those with pending asylum applications can obtain permission to work in the United States. Once granted asylum, individuals can file for permanent residence (green cards) after one year.

Masri Law Office, PLLC is seeking to fill a part-time law clerk position in Dearborn, Michigan. Law clerk must be currently enrolled in law school or currently enrolled in or have completed a paralegal program and have strong research and writing skills.

The position includes supporting the legal team by assisting with cases, performing research, conducting intakes and compiling cases, maintaining communications with clients, and assisting with administrative tasks.
