Did you hear about the new law passed in Washington? It is now illegal for drivers to hold their phone while driving.

Other forms of distracted driving like eating, smoking and grooming will be secondary offenses.

Did you know there was a bill proposed in Florida's House requiring everyone to wear a helmet while on a motorcycle?

Currently state law has an exemption added in 2000 that allows motorcycle drivers and riders to not wear a helmet as long as they are over the age of 21 and have “at least $10,000 in medical benefits for injuries incurred as a result of a crash while operating or riding on a motorcycle.”
