As a result of the hacking of over 500 million users, Yahoo complied with the NSA's classified directive and demand to search user emails. This is the 1ST CASE involving a US Internet company agreeing to the NSA's demands by searching all arriving messages. This is a huge intrusion.

The White House has named its 1st Cyber-Security Chief, Gregory Touhill, a retired Air Force General, who will be responsible for protecting government networks and critical infrastructure from cyber threats as federal chief information security officer.

This is in response to both the recent State-wide Board of Election hacks and Snowden-like incident response plans.
