This is what it's all about. *This* is why estate planning should be at the TOP of your to-do list, rather than something you'll take care of "when you get around to it." I have pictures of my kids (when they were much younger!) on the wall in the reception area, and pictures of my family members (including the furry ones) in the hallway as a reminder of why this work is so important. Instead of having a stuffy, formal conference room, we have a welcoming kitchen table with no sharp corners that could pose a danger to little ones. There's also a small table for children right in the conference room, so they can color while their parents and I design the best estate plan for their family. We also have a whole room right next to the conference room that's solely for the kids! There's a train table, lots of coloring books and crayons/markers/colored pencils, children's books, a Wii with games, and a TV with built-in DVD player to watch kids' movies. We even have a portable changing table, as wells as a kid-sized mattress in case it's nap time! When a family with young children comes in for a Life & Legacy Planning Session, one of my grown children will be on hand to supervise the kids in the children's area while the parents and I meet in the next room. We understand what it's like to juggle family responsibilities, and we've worked to make this as easy as possible for our clients

Today is not only the opening of the new Supreme Court session, it's also the official opening day of Berry Law, LLC!
