Major shout out to today’s Member of the Day, Keara R. Dever! Keara recently embarked on a new life chapter and has opened her own law office, handling Immigration, Criminal Defense, and Family Law needs. Keara sits as chair for not one, but two DBA special interest and practice area groups. She is one of the founding members of the DBA’s LGBT+ group and also chair’s the Criminal law group.
We are thankful for Keara’s involvement at the DBA and we look forward to watching her continue to excel throughout her career!

Last week, Jill Bucaro from our office and Keara Dever from the The VanNoy Firm provided an Immigration training to case managers and social workers from several different agencies in our community! The goal was to equip attendees with the skills needed to better advocate for their clients, no matter their immigration status.

Special shout out to Alyssa Bleijerveld with Our Lady of the Rosary School who shared information on how to enroll children of varying immigration statuses in school and to St. Vincent de Paul Society, Dayton, Ohio for providing the venue and the delicious snacks.
