We are currently looking for a Part Time Transaction Coordinator / Administrative Assistant to join our growing real estate and investment team in Gainesville, GA.

This is an in office position starting at approximately 25 hours per week with potential for future full time growth.

What we’re looking for:
• QuickBooks experience is required
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment
• Real estate, property management, construction administration, or transaction coordination experience is strongly preferred
• A real estate license is a huge plus and can be held with any brokerage
• Self motivated and dependable

Daily responsibilities may include:
• Processing invoices and tracking expenses
• Assisting with transaction coordination
• Tenant and vendor communication
• Administrative support for rental and flip properties
• Working within systems such as DoorLoop and QuickBooks

Pay range: $18 to $22 per hour depending on experience.

We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, problem solving, and being part of a hardworking team environment.

🚨 Public Warning About Rental Scams Using Purdy Real Estate Listings 🚨

We were recently contacted by a prospective tenant who was sent a Facebook rental listing for 776 Wheeler Circle in Alto, GA. The person advertising the property claimed to be a private landlord and was using photos and information from our listing, but the details they provided were completely incorrect.

For reference:
• The home is rented through Purdy Real Estate
• The rent is $1,700 per month
• Utilities are NOT included
• The property is NOT pet friendly
The individual advertising the property online claimed the rent was $1,300 with utilities included and a $600 deposit, which is false.

These scams are designed to collect application fees, deposits, and even Social Security numbers from unsuspecting renters. In many cases, victims lose thousands of dollars and their personal information.

In the screenshots below, you can see how the scammer reassures the prospective tenant that there is “nothing to worry about” when questioned about the listing being connected to Purdy Real Estate.

⚠️ Important Tips to Protect Yourself:
• Always verify who is listing the property
• Never send money before confirming ownership or management
• Be cautious if rent seems too good to be true
• Verify the listing directly with the brokerage
