This is from a local attorney friend of mine. I haven’t seen the MiUIA email referred to but have heard about it, nor have I checked my account yet but I will be.
Checking your unemployment account and not ignoring the email is sound advice. If you have a question or situation that needs to be addressed I highly recommend you contact Cris at 810-877-8732.

‼️🚨Genesee County Register of Deeds has updated their Deed Fraud Alert system. They migrated to a new search provider and were not able to transfer over the data for those already signed up to receive deed alerts.
These are the alerts that will notify you if something has been recorded regarding your property (ie fraudulent deed). It is about the only protection you have and I recommend all clients who own property in Genesee County sign up for them. (Other counties have similar services or alerts).
Below is the info in the email provided. The link in the email won't work to click since it is a photo but you can go to the link on your own or click the link I posted below.
If you had an alert, you need to re-register. If you were not signed up, you should sign up.
(apologies for the photo quality and no links, it was the only way to get the info to post here.)
