Careful out there folks! There is no shortage of dangerous driving to be seen on Bay Area roads. My first question after reading this article: How did a northbound driver on Telegraph crash into a southbound cyclist? This was a tragic and avoidable fatal collision.

This is an egregious case of greedy corporate behavior by UBER. If passed, and you are seriously injured in an auto accident due to the negligence of another, good luck in finding an attorney to take your case on a contingency. I'll be looking for other ways to get a ride in the future.

In the last days of the legislative session, Uber leveraged its political power for a change in the uninsured motorist coverage it must buy under state law. Now, if you are hit by an uninsured motorist while in an Uber, Uber no longer has to have coverage for $1 million in damages, but $60,000 p.....
