By law the IRS cannot release any refunds containing the Child Tax Credit and/or the Earned Income Tax Credit until after February 15th due to the PATH Act however State refunds can be released before then!

How to Prepare for Tax Season!

To prepare for tax season, start by gathering necessary documents, including:

- W-2 forms from employers
- 1099 forms for freelance work, Self Employment
or other income
- Receipts for deductions (charity, medical expenses,
etc.)
- Previous year's tax return
- Identification documents (driver's license, social
security card(s)

Next, review and organize your financial records, including:

- Bank statements
- Investment accounts
- Mortgage interest statements
- Child care expenses
