Anyone with young kids in middle school or high school, make sure to talk to your kids about the Liken Riley Act that will be signed into law soon. It means mandatory immigration detention for minor offenses such as stealing a candy bar. Mandatory detention used to be for drug traffickers and rapists but now will include children stealing a Snickers. No conviction necessary. A citation is enough. Makes total sense. SHM.

Stay strong, familia. The fight is just starting.

The GOP-led bill, which got some Democratic support, will head back to the House for approval before it goes to Trump for his signature.

The ruling allows Texas to start enforcing SB 4 while a lawsuit over its constitutionality remains pending before a federal appeals court.

My firm is looking for a records clerk. Our office is located near Greenville Ave. and 635. It is a full time position that with the primary duties being requesting and entering medical records and bills from providers for our personal injury clients. My Dearest DACA Peeps,

Although Texas Federal Judge Hanen declared DACA unconstitutional, the program lives on for people that currenly have it. Keep renewing and do not let it lapse for more than one year, otherwise you will lose it!

I'm sorry to all the kids with pending initial DACA applications. It seems that y'all will have to keep postponing your dreams and aspirations for something you had no control over. SMH!
