If your document has missing names, dates, or info, a notary cannot notarize it. Why? Because blank spaces create a huge fraud risk—anyone could fill that info in later! 😱
** Clients:** Fill it out completely (or know exactly what goes where) before you arrive.
** Notaries:** If it’s incomplete, pause the signing. Correct it or refuse it. Protect your commission!

Another one of the biggest reasons signings get delayed (or flat-out stopped)?
Signers not being present at the same time.
Here’s the standard rule of the road ⬇️
✔️ All required signers must be present
✔️ No signing ahead of time
✔️ No coming in later to “finish up”
✔️ No exceptions by default
This protects you, the document, and the integrity of the notarization. Period.
⚠️ Important Disclaimer:
Certain legal matters may qualify for separate or alternative signing arrangements only when permitted by law and properly documented (for example: specific court-approved cases, powers of attorney, or authorized remote/structured signings). These situations are reviewed case-by-case and are not automatic.
Bottom line: don’t assume—ask first.
