Work hard, play hard. You can still reach me. Call me if you had too much fun over the Memorial Day Weekend. God Bless our military and all those who sacrificed their lives for this great country. It’s a debt that can never be paid.

Mistrial! Jury Misconduct. Day 3. 1 juror booted off this morning. Second misconduct, this afternoon, reported to the court by an honest juror. Addendum: I wanted to add that this doesn’t mean the case goes away. It means we will have to go there again and try the case again, starting with calling another 112 jurors for jury duty. The trial will very likely take 4-5 days. All this caused by 1 juror who decided he would ignore the judge’s explicit instructions about not doing any social media about this trial and to not be looking up anything about any of the witnesss, nor discussing the case with anyone, including your spouse. That same juror, later is heard on his cell phone using the speaker and discussing what happened to his wife in front of another juror at lunch.

Proud to be chosen by D Magazine again for 2026. Caveat: I did not win the $206K SUV in the photo, but one can wish. It’s an honor to be even included with so many great lawyers, including my good friend Deandra Grant, to whom I owe much credit to for her support and her contributions to the profession.

I’m sorry that they are “Provoking” your probation. But, you provoked them by testing positive on that “peace” test.

Congratulations!

Exercise your right to remain silent and do not consent to field sobriety tests. Note what the head of the Tennessee Highway Patrol said. Corruption starts at the top there apparently.

Forty-one DUI arrests made by a single Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper in Bedford County have been dismissed.

Representing a police officer charged with a DWI. Even police officers arrested are presumed innocent. Imagine that. We may be requesting a change of venue due to a blogger (not even from this county) on a campaign to ruin her to the point of having a “Fatal Attraction-Like” obsession, you know the type, let’s skip the trial and hang them from the nearest tree. Call me if you want a fighter in your corner. Local is not always the best. I cover the entire state of Texas.
