Accident Diaries 📓

57M | Rear-End Collision at Red Light | “I was completely stopped.” | San Antonio

Client was sitting at a red light.
Foot on the brake. No movement. Just waiting.

Impact came from behind.

No warning.
No time to brace.
Just that sudden jolt that changes everything in a second.

The other driver got out and immediately said,
“I didn’t see you.”

(Client didn’t know how to respond to that.)

He felt okay at first.
Just shaken.

By the next day, his body told a different story.

Reports:
• neck pain
• lower-back stiffness
• soreness that made getting in and out of the car harder
• discomfort that lingered instead of fading

He kept saying the same thing:
“I didn’t do anything wrong.”

(And that’s what made it harder to process.)

What was really happening:
Fault was clear.
Injury still showed up.

Intake Notes:

• delayed symptom onset
• client confused by how bad he felt despite doing everything right

Intervention:

Process handled without him having to chase answers.

Moral:
Doing everything right doesn’t protect you from someone else’s mistake.

If your body starts telling you something after the fact, listen to it.
