Ryan M.T. Allen, founder and managing member of RMTA Law Group (formerly Ryan M.T. Allen & Associates, PLLC), has been a prominent figure in business law for over two decades. A graduate of The University of Oklahoma (OU), Ryan attended on a football scholarship, earning accolades both on and off the field. During his time at OU, Ryan was a four-time letterman and earned a spot on the First Team Academic All-Big Twelve on four occasions. He graduated with honors in May 2000, and although professional football was a viable path, Ryan chose law school, prioritizing his passion for the legal field.
After earning his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law with honors, Ryan and his wife relocated to Dallas, eager to immerse themselves in the heart of big business. From the very beginning, Ryan was dedicated to building a legal practice focused on client satisfaction. His reputation grew through word of mouth, as clients praised his ability to calculate the cost of legal confrontations and provide counsel based on both the emotional and financial aspects of a case.
Ryan explains his approach: “Many lawyers relish the courtroom fight. I take a different view. I counsel my clients to leave emotion at the door and focus on the best possible outcome, while considering the cost. Sometimes that means fighting or settling, even if they were wronged, because I look at the long-term picture for their business.”
Today, RMTA Law Group consists of Ryan and three other seasoned attorneys, bringing together over 75 years of combined legal experience. The firm specializes in corporate transactions, complex business litigation, construction and employment law, business structuring and intellectual property.
