Tim Waltz and many like him want to abolish the Electoral College. Sounds good to the uneducated. Sounds good that simple majority wins the race. If that is the extent of your analysis, why not abolish it? Simple majority, right?

What has been striking is how many educated people do not understand how our system works. Sometimes that is shocking.

The Electoral College is there to give a voice to the small rural states. You know, Montana, Idaho, Nebraska, Main - most of the States actually.

The Electoral College is there to prevent the majority from dominating/dictating to the minority. Amazing thing about our system, protecting minority groups/populations from the dictates of the majority.

The Electoral College is there to prevent New York, Houston, San Francisco, Los Angelas, Dallas from deciding who the President will be. It gives a voice to Ardmore, Oklahoma and Whitefish Montana.

Okay, we got a looney tunes 20 something shooter who tried to assassinate DJT. Apparently he is Antifa. Lying on a roof with a .223.

DJT turned his head to the right and a .223 gave DJT an ear piercing at 130 yards.

I’m calling it an ear piercing. If he had moved his head slightly, if the shooter had been a professional, DJT would be dead.

He has no reason to campaign. No reason to be a candidate. No reason to seek office. He is an American and he loves his country. That is DJT.

On another note, he plays some pretty good golf.

Women - women I know. Women I have learned of. Women who are an inspiration. Women who I would want to be. I’m thinking of Michelle and Andria, Vonda and Jennifer, Shipman and Charla, my favorite BeeBee with the plastic pig - no it doesn’t fly. And then there is Cynthia. And also A.J. And Stacey. And Willie Ruth, probably the most influential woman of my life. I miss you so. Women with guts and power. Women who are warriors. Women whom I want my daughter to be and emulate. Women - a woman that settled upon the high plains of Nebraska in 1845. A woman named Tempe (Temperance) who married at 14 and raised her family on an old place called the Rocking Chair Ranch in 1895. Near a place called Shamrock. BAJ, a woman that runs my office and I wished she ran it 30 years ago. Your s*x has nothing to do with it, your heart is everything.

So, it is an Annulment kind of day. A little niche of mine. Sometimes, just after a marriage, the truth comes to light. Sometimes in a big way. After the marriage, after the cake and champaign, after the rice is thrown and a return from honeymoon bliss, the truth comes out.

I have had this particular case before, several of them. Prior to the marriage, H & W were dating and W was taking her meds. Yes, that is right, taking her "meds." She has a reason to take meds. She has been described "meds" and she dutifully takes them during the dating phase.

After return from the honeymoon, she just stops taking the meds. Just stops. That's when things go off the rails. Sometimes in a big way. In this case,

W had been diagnosed in 2008 as Bi-Polar and Schizophrenic (a beautiful mind). Yes, she was talking to people who were not there. She dated my guy. After marriage, she chose to stop taking her meds. Bam . . six months later she is in the hospital. My client knew nothing about all of this. Then her family comes clean and her history is revealed.

I have done lots of annulments over the years. Several med cases, immigration cases, a number of debt cases, a "clean freak" case, and some dude that - well that was pretty weird.

Parental Alienation: Just so sick and tired of it and it is so bad, so so bad. A sure fire way to send a child off to alcohol, drugs, promiscuity, depression, anxiety on and on.

Parental Alienation - using a child as a weapon in the family law case, pouring hate out for the other party onto the child. Sometimes overt. Sometimes very subtle.

I have received an exhibit to a TRO where the 12 year old has written a three page "letter" to the Court explaining why he doesn't want to see his father or his family. The letter is in the child's handwriting for sure, however, Momma was standing over his shoulder dictating the content. In my experience, I have never seen something quite like this one.

These are hard to prove cases. Expensive to prove. Requires an expert - there is another $2500 to 5K. If the client is without funds for the expert (most are), then I have to try and get there through the facts and circumstances of the case.

When Momma disobeys a possession order, I have no hesitancy in drafting that Motion for Enforcement and putting Momma in jail. No problem with that whatsoever.

If I can prove the parental alienation, I'm moving to change custody and limiting Momma's possession and access.

I just need a strong judge.
