Homicide – 418 S. Walton Walker


At 7:57 am Officers responded to a cutting call at 418 S. Walton Walker. The victim, Marietta Shaw B/F/7-6-90 was found deceased by a neighbor with multiple stab wounds. Young children were at the location and were not injured.

This offense is currently under investigation and there is no further information. Next of kin has been notified. The offense is filed on case number 255799-2014

Driver dies when cement truck overturns on highway in Midlothian

A truck driver died early Thursday when his 18-wheeler loaded with powdered cement overturned in Midlothian.

The crash happened about 7 a.m. on the ramp from U.S. Highway 67 to U.S. Highway 287. The driver, who was not identified, died at the scene.
