The Dallas housing market has shifted — and buyers have more negotiating power than we’ve seen in quite some time.

According to a new Redfin report highlighted by CultureMap, Dallas is now the #8 strongest buyer’s market in the entire country. Sellers outnumber buyers by 107%, with 30,854 sellers compared with 14,865 buyers in the latest reporting period. Even more interesting: 79% of Dallas-area home sales sold below their original asking price.

What can that mean if you're buying?
