Adkins Lawyers, PLLC congratulates attorney Alia Adkins-Derrick who moderated the 2026 Texas Constitution panel alongside Texas Supreme Court Justice Evan Young & attorney, author, and legal historian Dr. "Bill" William Chriss at the 2026 State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting! This year marks 150 years since Texas citizens of yesteryear adopted the Texas Constitution on Feb. 15, 1876. Since then, the Texas Constitution has become one of the most detailed and frequently amended constitutions in the USA. Congrats to Alia on a job well done!

We are excited to announce the election of the 2026-2027 Officers for the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society, consisting of President Alia Adkins-Derrick of Adkins Lawyers, PLLC; President-Elect Mark Trachtenberg of Haynes and Boone, LLP; Vice President Rachel H.
