She is a graduate of North Georgia College and State University, with an emphasis in English and French. She is a 2004 graduate of Tulane University’s School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following law school, Andrea worked for three years as an assistant public defender with The Legal Aid Society in New York City. She defended people accused of committing crimes, and for a year specialized in
the defense of alleged parole violations. She worked in Manhattan Criminal Court, Brooklyn Criminal Court, and at the Judicial Center on Riker’s Island. Andrea opened her own practice in her hometown of Dahlonega in 2010. She is admitted to the Bar in both New York and Georgia.
