This iconic picture from the Al Feldstein collection is one of my West Side favorites!
Once considered a private, gated community, The Di**le sat at the end of the street car line and offered a “rural” setting near the city. A big change came to the Di**le when I-68 came through.
Still a beautiful neighborhood, you can see signs of the past with the old stone columns that once housed the main gate.
