BIG NEWS!
We are very excited to announce that Sharyl Eisenstein has joined ZCWS!
Sharyl brings a litigation-focused practice emphasizing family law, guardianships, and high-conflict matters. With nearly two decades of experience as a prosecutor and a steady, trauma-informed approach to clients navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives, Sharyl will be a tremendous asset to our clients.
Before entering private practice, Sharyl spent almost 20 years with the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office as a Special Prosecutor with her primary focus on crimes against children, sexual assault, domestic violence, and other violent offenses. Throughout her career as an assistant state’s attorney, she handled a high volume of hearings and trials, maintained a strong conviction record, and successfully negotiated lengthy prison sentences in complex and high-stakes cases.
Sharyl also has extensive experience in juvenile abuse, neglect, and delinquency matters and previously served in a supervisory role within the Juvenile Division, overseeing courtroom operations, case screening, hearings, and trials. She is known for her ability to manage emotionally charged cases with clarity, professionalism, and empathy, while remaining a strong and effective courtroom advocate.
In private practice, Sharyl represents clients in family law matters, guardianships, civil litigation, and orders of protection. Her practice is grounded in thorough preparation, practical strategy, and an unwavering focus on achieving fair and just outcomes—whether through litigation or negotiation.
