Get to know...Paulette Gray
Why did you apply to become a Fellow of the AAML?
My first job out of law school was with Lake, Toback & Yavitz in Chicago. I worked primarily with Alan Toback who, at the time, was president of the AAML Illinois Chapter. Watching the camaraderie, respect, and litigation skills of other Fellows as a baby lawyer made me want to be the best lawyer I could be. Becoming a Fellow in the Academy was a no-brainer. Our office remains open and will conduct small office meetings as needed. We will also accommodate telephone or video conferences as requested.

Cases will proceed, but perhaps in a different fashion for the time being. Mediation services and child representation investigations can - and will - continue. Cases can still be filed and litigated, negotiated, and settled.

We will make adjustments as needed, as will my colleagues. We will work through this together.
