Recently, I have had a number of clients who have been arrested on charges like OWI and booked into the Lake County Jail. Before the actual bond information can be shared with friends/family to come and bond their loved one out of jail, those friends/family members are receiving a call to have their friends/family to post bond via Zelle, Paypal, etc. THIS IS A SCAM. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BECAUSE IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK. I JUST HAD A CLIENT TELL ME THAT HIS MOTHER PAID $3,000 TO THESE PEOPLE AND HIS ACTUALY BOND WAS ONLY $1,000.
